Motorsport Italia: “Araujo’s finish in Sweden was a success”

Italian outfit Motorsport Italia considers it’s performance in Sweden a success and hopes good result “justifies Mini’s faith in the team”.

Official WRC website published a short statement by Bruno de Pianto, head of Motorsport Italia, the team that since recently runs Mini’s manufacturer programme in World Rally Championship.

“We are very proud of the confidence MINI has shown in Motorsport Italia by nominating us as their manufacturer entry this season and we hope that having WRC Team MINI Portugal’s number one driver Armindo Araujo successfully reach the finish reinforces this faith and support,” he said.

Armindo Araujo finished 15th in Sweden.
