Stage One Technology to the rescue
Timing and tracking company Stage One Technology is ready to take on a peacekeeper (and potentially co-funder) role in the current dispute between the FIA and WRC event organizers.
Known for his support of the championship, company’s CEO Simon de Banke is keen to support the series and offered his support in finding a solution. At the same time he is also open to provide financial investment in short-term, in order to provide stability to the sport at this cruical period.
“The FIA’s predicament is entirely understandable,” said de Banke. “The money has to come from somewhere. The way forward now is to find a solution together which lessens the burden on the events. For our part, we’re happy to consider stepping in to work something out.”, de Banke said to Autosport.com.
