Video: Rally Heaven aka What would be the best day for a rally nut!

If there is such thing as religious experience in rallying then Chris Harris was among the chosen few to experience it in the company of the Gods of Rally themselves… Juha Kankkunen, Markku Alen to name but a few.

Of course, experience would not be complete without the proper machinery, so please make way for Lancia Delta S4, Lancia 037, Lancia Stratos… To top it all off add one amazing tarmac stage of San Remo rally and new Pirelli classic competition tyre and you have a proper rally heaven right there.

Mr Harris was doing what he does best, enjoy his job, ask relevant questions and provide relevant if a bit overjoyed impressions, but I reckon you can either do that or simply cry after being overwhelmed by the fact you’re being driven around San Remo stages in Lancia Stratos by Markku Alen.

Mr Harris, that day just made all of us (or me at least) feel a tiny bit jealous, but also proud of our love of rally and worship for these Gods and their blessed chariots.

I think I need a glass of water now.
