Once again, we are being reminded just how fantastic World Rally Championship is. Not only for it’s crews and champions, but for every single person involved in this exciting series. Once upon a time, I dreamt of becoming a little more than just a guy with a camera, but to dream is one thing… As such, I am naturally very interested in the work of professional motorsport photographers.
Sometimes they are very secretive and careful about what they will disclose, while talking about their work, but more often than not, they’ll be happy to share some thoughts and stories about one of the best jobs in the world.
So far, World Rally Blog had the honour of “talking” to some of the best motorsport snappers out there – Colin McMaster of McKlein Photography agency, and Andre Lavadinho, who works for and in WRC and ERC series and teams.
As well as sharing his work on Facebook and on his website, Andre also produces short “backstage” videos, showing some details about the life of a professional photographer.
This video covers recent Rally Argentina, and it just confirms the fact stated in the first paragraph. This is, without a doubt, the job to pursue if WRC and photography are your passions!
