New Impreza WRX STi is here

Oh, do I wish. But alas, she is not here, and as far as I know my own bank account, she won’t be anytime toon. But admiring from afar is still free, they say. So, let’s do that, drool some over the leaked photos of the 2015 Subaru Impreza WRX STi.

As you probably know, the official presentation of the new STi is scheduled for January 14 in Detroit. That date is close to that of Rallye Monte Carlo, but Detroit is too far away from WRC, and so is the new Impreza, it seems. Despite all the colours and wheels of gold, Subaru won’t be rallying with this baby on WRC stages anytime soon. Not even the usually gigantic rear wing can help with that.

For now, Toyota is our only hope of a Japanese brand joining the World Rally Championship. Can we at least have Yaris WRC with golden wheels? Please?
