Great perfomance from Sander Pärn in FIA ERC round auto24 Rally Estonia impressed Malcolm Wilson

Sander Pärn and James Morgan, driving Ford Fiesta R2 had a perfect weekend when they won FIA ERC round, auto24 Rally Estonia in 2WD category. It was great perfomance by Estonian-Wales crew as they outperformed higher specification machinery like R3 and R3T cars.

“It feels really good and we are very happy to get this result from here in Estonia. We managed to show some good pace throughout the rally and we are now quite confident before the next week’s Neste Oil Rally Finland,” said Pärn.

The perfomance of the young Estonian and Ford Fiesta R2 car in auto24 Rally Estonia impressed also M-Sport where the Ford Fiesta R2 cars are built.

A fantastic performance by Sander which sees him well placed to defend his lead of the Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy in Finland.”

As Pärn and Morgan started their cooperation with this season, the Estonian-British crew has improved a lot. In auto24 Rally Estonia they won 8 stages out of 15.

The Fiesta R2 Pärn is using in Estonia is prepared by Indrek Tammvere’s team CRC Car Rebuilding Company in cooperation with MM-Motorsport and Juss Roden.

Next event for Pärn and Morgan is WRC Neste Oil Rally Finland also known as Gravel Grand Prix in Jyväskylä next week where they will start on Thursday with third round of Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy. Total five rallies are in the series calendar, Pärn and Morgan have won two of them, Rally Portugal and Rally Poland. After Rally Finland Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy series continues with Rallye Deutschland and Rally Catalunya. The winner will come away with a remarkable full seven-round WRC 2 campaign using’s M-Sport popular Ford Fiesta R5 in the Drive DMACK World Rally Team.
