Loeb criticises WRC coverage in France, hopes situation improves

Eight-time world rally champion Sebastien Loeb of Citroën says he’s not concerned by collapse of former WRC promoter and media rights holder North One Sport and hopes FIA will find a way to give WRC better means to promote itself.

Loeb is particularly unhappy with the fact that World Rally Championship was barely mentioned in his home country, despite the fact that French team and driver are dominating the championship year after year, and new talents, such as Sebastien Ogier, are reaching for the top.

“We lost our promoter, but last year we didn’t see anything in France anyway, so maybe it’s not bad.” Loeb mused.
