Loeb only just ahead of Latvala on SS3

Rerun of rally’s first stage again went to Sebastien Loeb, who only just managed to top the time sheet ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala and Petter Solberg was also just over 1 second behind.“It was OK, we have mixed tyre choice, mainly because of the another stage.” commented Loeb.

“It’s really good, I really enjoy it. I was very nervous on the first stage, now it’s perfect.” added Petter Solberg.

“It was good stage, I’m really happy with the car.” proclaimed Latvala. Finn also praised his teammate Solberg for testing the tyres setup in morning loop of stages, enabling Latvala to change strategy for afternoon.

“It’s going well, but we need to wake up little bit. But everything was very nice now.” Dani Sordo said at the end of SS3.
