New car livery and action packed preparations for Ostberg

Norwegian young hopeful Mads Ostberg missed first WRC event of the year in Monte Carlo in order to gain more time to properly prepare for his first competitive outing of the season on next month’s Rally Sweden. Even though Ostberg was not on list of competitors in Monte Carlo, he still played important role as part of gravel crew to compatriot Henning Solberg.

Talking to World Rally Radio during Rallye Monte Carlo Ostberg confirmed his WRC season will start in Sweden and in the meantime he took part in Norwegian national rally championship events. One of those events, Rally Elverum, takes place this saturday with Ostberg on entry list.

24-year old Norwegian revealed new car livery on Twitter today and expressed satisfaction with testing and recce for Rally Elverum. According to his words during WRR interview in Monte Carlo, he will try to do his best on Rally Sweden, which starts on February 9th.
