Front wheel drive Škoda Fabia R2 may not be on par with latest and greatest of WRC and SWRC machinery, but it is very capable car in good hands, as proven by Swedish crew Pontus Tidemand and Goran Bergsten.

For Tidemand and Bergsten Rally Finnskog started with problems on stage 1 and they lost a fair bit of time to throttle issues. They managed to return to competition and score some good times on remaining stages, regularly finishing within top 10 and leading the FWD cars.
