Jari-Matti Latvala fastest on Qualifying Stage

Single run over the shakedown stage was timed for a new qualification system and Ford’s number one driver Jari-Matti Latvala secured top spot with over half a second faster run compared to former teammate and compatriot Mikko Hirvonen in Citroën.

Third place went to Ott Tanak and fourth to Evgeny Novikov with Petter Solberg and Sebastien Loeb taking fifth and sixth place respectively.

It in that order that drivers will get to choose positions for tomorrow’s first leg of the rally. One more task remains for crews this evening – super special stage on Farjestadtravet.
