Latvala remains in control after morning loop

Jari-Matti Latvala kept his lead over Mikko Hirvonen and goes to midday break with 18.6 seconds advantage over former teammate, while Petter Solberg is equally third with 21.3 deficit behind Hirvonen.

And while Latvala is playing it safe and controlling the race with careful application of speed it is Mads Ostberg who is pushing strongly in trying to deny Petter Solberg of third place. Gap was reduced to just 7.2 seconds after SS 14 and with the rerun of those four stages yet to take place it is expected Ostberg will keep the pressure on his older compatriot.
