Sainz and Moya tested their Porsche

Carlos Sainz and Luis Moya are ready to jump back in to the action, according to former double World Champion’s post on Facebook. The pair tested their historic Porsche 911 in France and met up with some old friends along the way. Not surprisingly there were big smiles everywhere and Carlos said he is very excited to take part in upcoming Rally de Espana Historico.

Sadly we don’t have any onboard footage from the testing, so few photos will have to do. This 911 just looks like it means business, despite the age, and same can be said about it’s crew.

“Hello, today Luis and I tested the Porsche in France. Here we are with engineer Fiorenzo of Pirelli we know for 23 years. He was with us when we won our first world championship. It has been as a return to the past with that car!!!” Sainz posted on his Facebook page.

Rally of Spain organisers announced they received 60 entries so far and Sainz and Moya will be starting the event with number 1 one their rally plates. Historic event starts on 9 March.
