Video: Rally Mexico 2011 onboard by Petter Solberg

We’re 10 or so days away from third event of 2012 World Rally Championship in Mexico and I thought it would be nice to remind ourselves what kind of challenges crews will face in first proper gravel rally of the season.

Footage was taken on special stage 15, Ibarrilla 2, on board Citroën DS3 WRC driven by Petter Solberg and Chris Patterson. Petter and Chris were fastest on this tricky stage, lined with rocks and some very nasty looking concrete blocks hidden in the bushes.

Same stage will be run this year as well with the exception of our filming crew now being part of Ford’s A team. Enjoy.
