Paulo Nobre teases with a WRC return?

After all, it is April 1st, so anything is possible, and from the way he worded his “announcement”, we can suspect he is not being too serious. It says “Humorist and rally driver” on his Facebook profile, so there’s that.

But if this info is in fact genuine, then we can expect to see Paulo Nobre, famous green pig rider and the comedian, back in World Rally Championship action this year. His Facebook post suggests Rallye de France in October, but unlike his recent exploits behind the wheel of a Mini WRC car, this time Paulo aims for a bit tamer machinery in the form of Proton Satria S2000.

No doubt, Mr. Nobre wanted to test his skills against Sebastien Loeb, who will also take part in his home event! And it’s no surprise Rallye de France caught his attention – it is one of the best promoted and broadcast events of the season.
