Kuipers first, Sordo last to start tomorrow

No real surprises there – Dani Sordo decided to be the last one to start on the special stages tomorrow, after he earned the right to be first to select starting positions by winning the qualifying stage earlier today.

Word is, there is a chance of some rain tomorrow, but Sordo does not seem to be concerned and maintains that starting further down, in fact, all the way down, is best possible option.
”I feel confident for tomorrow. It will not be an easy day, there were some muddy sections during reconnaissance, but I think that this starting position is the best option by far”, said Sordo.
As Jari-Matti Latvala revealed, even if it does rain, the surface should not turn into what it was last year. And contrary to last year, this time, there is only a chance of some light rain, not a total downpour that was 2012.

And so, we have what promises to be another exciting WRC event. Fingers crossed that as many drivers as possible survive all the stages – we need a proper fight! Also, get well soon, Mr. Sebastien Ogier – Volkswagen’s star is still suffering from some kind of infection and team decided to limit his activities today in order to ensure he gets as much rest as possible.

Bring on Rally de Portugal!
