“Go for it, but don’t be stupid!”, Volkswagen says

Excellent article popped up on WRC.com, sharing information about the plan to let Sebastien Ogier off the leash on the remaining stages. That is not exactly news, as I’m sure he would be doing exactly that even if everyone at Volkswagen told him not to.

But article is even more excellent because it explains the technicalities behind the recent handbrake issues Sebastien Ogier and Jari-Matti Latvala experienced during Rally Argentina.

Apparently, system is known to be slow on releasing power to front wheels while the lever is pulled, which essentially will take you right out of the corner, instead of helping you turn in.
