Olé! Carlos “El Matador” Sainz confirms X-Games in Polo!

Not only did Carlos Sainz confirm he will compete at upcoming X-Games spectacle in Barcelona, driving a Swedish built Volkswagen Polo, but the car is already wearing a proper uniform!

Minutes ago, Carlos finally tweeted about his plans for this week’s rallycross fest, adding even more fuel to the already big X-Games fire this year. Soon enough, it will be hard to follow all these current and former WRC stars, as they join various series for one- or few-offs. Good times!

Now, about that (silly?) idea of mine, and Carlos using this race to test the car in preparation for, dare I say it, Sebastien Ogier, as the latter continues to stalk Sebastien Loeb around the world? It would be awesome, don’t you think – two Sebs, head to head, on a dirt track!

Ogier or no Ogier, El Matador is going to have some fun driving 600+ HP Polo in Barcelona – and all we can hope is there will be a live TV of it! Olé!
