Listen up: Colin Clark talks to Jost Capito and Yves Matton
Something I did not mention in my previous post, and for a good reason. It deserves to stand on its own because it really is special. Over the weekend, Colin Clark of WRC Live caught up with team bosses of Citroën Racing (Yves Matton) and Volkswagen Motorsport (Jost Capito). Even though you might think these were just the usual chit-chats about the event, there was much more in these two interviews.
Both teams are locked in a battle for manufacturer’s title this year, so that was one of the topics. Of course, both Capito and Matton talked about the phenomenon that is Sebastien Loeb, but the most important and interesting thing is the talk about 2014 and beyond. Especially when it comes to Citroën and their future plans. Because we still have no clear idea what they’ll be doing next year. Or do we? Mr Matton makes it clear there are many options available, but he does sound to be more keen on some options over the others.
