What do you say, shall we forget all relevant criteria and for a moment judge one team’s chances based only on their videos? I’m in if you are. Alright, let’s do this. Few days from now, Hyundai will finally reveal all their secrets, even though Hyundai already did reveal it, locally. In Spain. Someone sat on the “Tweet” button and dispatched a bit of info too early, so for a moment world was able to see who will be named team’s third and final driver for 2014. He’s Spanish. Can you guess?
But Sordo’s, I mean Spaniard’s official confirmation is not the topic of this particular post. I just wanted to take another look at Hyundai’s humble beginnings, their first videos. You know, the ones that made us all go: “OMG, they cannot be serious. This is going to be worse than Accent and then they’ll quit”. Since then, however, Hyundai transformed from “hey, we kinda want to join you guise” to the team with Thierry Neuville and Juho Hanninen onboard. What better way to picture the amount of work and progress done since early days than videos.
Hyundai Motorsport’s latest video is on top and it’s sweet! I love teasers with epic endings. On the bottom (link only, because author does not like embedding) is one of the first videos that came out, showing what looks like a very early days of Hyundai i20 WRC development (not made by Hyundai, but still).
Personally, I am so looking forward to 2014 and this new team.
