Solberg increases lead over Sordo to 2 seconds

Petter Solberg and Dani Sordo had another clash on SS 9 and the winner was once again Solberg. Norwegian increased lead over Sordo but not by much, so the two are now split by 2,4 seconds. Meanwhile, Loeb is playing it safe and keeping his distance and is currently 1 minute and 28 seconds ahead....

Final loop starts with SS 8, Sordo flies

Dani Sordo made some changes to suspension and gearbox of his Mini and with more confidence he set flying time on SS 8. With Petter Solberg being 2,2 slower than Spaniard, Sordo still remains on 3rd place with Norwegian holding on to second spot. After SS8 Solberg and Sordo are split by just 1,1 seconds.

First run through today’s stages of Rallye Monte Carlo saw overnight leader Sebastien Loeb further extending his lead. Frenchman is now comfortably ahead of pursuers, led by remaining Ford driver Petter Solberg.
