Final loop starts with SS 8, Sordo flies

Dani Sordo made some changes to suspension and gearbox of his Mini and with more confidence he set flying time on SS 8. With Petter Solberg being 2,2 slower than Spaniard, Sordo still remains on 3rd place with Norwegian holding on to second spot. After SS8 Solberg and Sordo are split by just 1,1 seconds.

“It was OK, a little bit tricky with some mud in some corners, but no problems”, Sebastien Loeb.

“I have more feeling with the car, road is better and we have harder tyres so I can push more. We did some small modifications with gearbox and suspension, but it’s also up to me, I feel more confident now”, Dani Sordo.

“We’re trying hard but also must be careful and keep pace. One small mistake is enough to lose time so we must take care”, Petter Solberg.

“Rally is still long and still tricky so anything can happen. We could use some weather changes. We cannot hope for podium in normal circumstances but you never know”, Sebastien Ogier.
