Financial problems for Armindo Araujo

Portugese driver Armindo Araujo’s season is still at risk due to lack of sponsors. As MaxRally reports, Araujo took part in season opener in Monte Carlo and will also compete in next month’s Rally Sweden. Only one more event is planned this year unless former PWRC champion secures some new sponsors.

Third event for Araujo will be his home rally in Portugal. “After Portugal nothing is certain, I must find solution and new sponsors. I hope it works out and I want to compete but for now I can only wait and hope”, Araujo said.

He finished 10th on Rallye Monte Carlo driving Mini’s WRC machine.
