Another withdrawal from Rally Mexico entry list

Mexican driver Francisco Name confirmed he will not take part in third round of World Rally Championship next week. He was scheduled to compete in a Mini WRC car, but problems with sponsors forced him out of the rally.

In the meantime we’re still awaiting official confirmation of Henning Solberg’s cancellation, although that is, as far as I am aware, a done deal and older of the Solberg brothers will sit out the mexican round.

“Officially we have decided not to participate in the WRC event in Leon this year. This decision has not been easy, because to get to this point has been a real challenge, however, for various reasons some sponsors decided to withdraw support”, said a statement released by Name.

Ricardo Trivino remains the only Mexican driver to take part in the 2012 Rally Mexico in one-off outing with Ford Fiesta RS WRC.
