Citroën puts us on hold, for now

That’s more like it! We have a solid date, a valid piece of information, something to cling on as we wait for more drivers line up news to hit us. So far we have learned that the Hyundai A list for 2014 will consist of Thierry Neuville, who will compete in all rallies, and Juho Hanninen, the latter with a limited programme. Who will accompany them on remaining events, sorry, don’t know yet. Volkswagen’s list is rock solid for 2014, no changes there. But what about Citroën and M-Sport?

For M-Sport, no idea. It largely depends on whether another deal between Qatar and M-Sport can be arranged but in terms of drivers, it’s anyone’s guess.

Citroën, however, have decided to share at least something with us. And that something is the announcement about the announcement. Meaning, they’ll reveal their WRC and WTCC programmes and line ups on 16th of December at Citroën Racing technical center in Versailles.

So, there you go folks. We have some seats to fill and some drivers to swap around. Mads Ostberg, Evgeny Novikov, Nasser Al-Attiyah, Mikko Hirvonen, Dani Sordo, Kris Meeke, Robert Kubica, and several others are looking for job, but who will get it?

Care to play a little guessing game? What would be your ideal Citroën line up. Remember, Sebastien Loeb is not allowed. Here’s mine: 1. Dani Sordo, 2. Robert Kubica, 3. Kris Meeke. Or would I rather see someone from M-Sport switch to Citroën? Hm.
