M-Sport to partner with Vodafone for the 2014 season?

Or will they? Up to this point nothing is official yet, at least I wasn’t able to find any proper confirmation of this new alleged partnership. In the Rallye Monte Carlo entry list, two Fiestas, driven by Mikko Hirvonen and Elfyn Evans, appeared next to M-Sport Ltd., with no mention of either former or this year’s or even future new title sponsors and partners. What we do have is an authentically photoshopped image of 2013 Fiesta RS WRC with Vodafone instead of Qatar. Sounds good, no question, but is it for real or did someone just have too much spare time on their hands?

But, Vodafone or no Vodafone, we have at least one livery sort-of confirmed for the Fords. Robert Kubica is keeping himself occupied with plenty of pre-event testing going on. The Lotos backed Fiesta looks seriously badass, but what’s hiding beneath the black bits on the livery? Are they going to remain black or are they hiding something? I dunno, maybe some Vodafone red?
