Goodbye Nokia, WRC left without title sponsor?

Pending official confirmations, expressions of regret and mutual understanding news broke out about the split between Finnish communications giant (is it still considered giant?) Nokia and World Rally Championship.

As we run to fetch the napkins, this split should come as no surprise really, as sad and regretful as it may be. Nokia itself is in very dire situation and unless they pull out few very strong cards soon they will be looking for sponsors themselves.

In the meanwhile, FIA still has very little to say. And the season goes on, teams keep spending their money and overall if there ever was a living, breathing status Quo then this is it.
