Hyundai’s WRC machine should be blue, black ‘n’ orange, poll says

How neat! 100 votes, a dream come true for any statistic. Of course, it’s a very small number, but perhaps it’s not. Maybe it’s the 100 most influential people in the WRC. Actually, I am certain that’s the case.

Little over two hours from now Hyundai Motorsport will finally reveal their WRC programme and the team for 2014 WRC season. Dani Sordo will be confirmed as team’s third driver, sharing car with Juho Hanninen, unless Hyundai has another ace up their sleeve.

We are also going to learn more about the car, its livery, team’s sponsors and all sorts of goodies, I hope. I do believe the i20 WRC will sport the exact copy or a variation of a livery used by Hyundai for Geneva Motor Show back in March. That would work perfectly with World Rally Blog’s poll results – blue, black and orange. Tasty combo of colours, isn’t it.

What do you mean “it’s probably going to be white, and besides, who cares about the colour”? Many do, the more colour the more identity for the team, as it stands out from its competitors and fights for fans. We know drivers are capable, now make their weapons shiny and catchy and see the fans running.
