7 Days of Dakar: Day 7

For the final day of our Dakar series, I decided to put together a collection of 360 degree videos from a variety of perspectives. Even if you don’t have a VR headset, these are pretty fun to look at just on your mobile phone or tablet. I’ve got to be honest, I think that this will be how we watch rally in the future. I can’t wait until we can get live 360 degree video in the WRC. Can you imagine logging into WRC+ and virtually jumping into a car while it runs a stage in real time? Or watching a stage from a 360 camera right on the edge of the road? It may take a few years, but I think this is where we could be headed. Until then, we’ll just have to satisfy ourselves with video clips. Enjoy the Dakar everyone! Stage 1 starts today!
